chillin'Why Kyle Busch is necessary to NASCAR
Love or hate him, Kyle Busch is good for NASCAR. Why? Because NASCAR requires a "bad boy" for the moment, and Kyle fills easily them boots.
"Bad Boys" arouse the interest and more interest is generated over the benefits of sport.
Each sport has its "Bad Boys". 
Baseball had alleged user of steroids and home run king Barry Bonds. Whether you like it or not Barry seats filled. Roger Clemens seems destined to take the role of Barry baseball's bad, but we will see.
Hockey has had many "Bad Boys" Over the years. Sean Avery is the current NHL Cretin. Avery is so bad that the NHL has had to create a new rule because of its actions against the New Jersey Devils' goalie Martin Brodeur (pick up the mark 1:20) during this year's play-offs.
The NBA has a little way, but the most memorable was Dennis Rodman who head butted referee Ted Bernhardt during a game in New Jersey on March 16, 1996.
And it goes so forth and forth until your head aches.
NASCARs’ got Kyle Busch. Kyle actions on the track and the track have generated new, and interest. From Kyle damning comments on the cot in the process of victory, at its last spinning NASCAR's most popular driver (as voted by you) Dale Earnhardt Jr when it seems ready to end 2 years earn less gap, Kyle unpopularity popularity has steadily increased and thereby created more interest in NASCAR.
Its actions, good or bad, people talk about NASCAR and that is what NASCAR needs. The more people talk about the most interest is generated, plus ticket sales and Neilson notes will increase as people will go either to listen to the races or see that "Bad Boy" Kyle will do next.
Kyle fills the 'Bad Boy' void in NASCAR right now. Tony Stewart was the Bad Boy, but he has mellowed in recent years. Robby Gordon inadvertently tries to take the hat and wear black sometimes (remember last year's race in Montreal?), But it does not advance enough to be in the fight for victory (unless s is a route) to generate the kind of interest that apparently perpetual runner before (at least this year) does Busch. So who is to wear the black hat bad boy? Nobody, even Kyle's older brother Kurt is not the 'Bad Boy' mould.
It seems that Kyle is ready to assume this role and plays with it as was demonstrated during the driver introductions and the driver parade laps during the race last weekend at Darlington - he even parked his car on the front section after winning the race, and bowed to the crowd booing. Kyle also taunted Dale Jr thanking the fans for the process' so well 'during the last week after the incident between him and Dale Richmond left that Earnhardt fans foaming at the mouth and cries of vengeance.
The problem here for Kyle, is that it must take all the "Bad Boy" image very seriously, because if it continues the way it goes, it could face serious consequences as isolate its sponsors, if it does not take care of his image. It is good to be the "Bad Boy" as long as its good for the image, but if not you're in trouble.
Dale Earnhardt Sr. wore the "black hat" for a long time, but he wore with respect. Dale worked his image around him, marketing itself as "The Intimidator" and has used it to his advantage on the runway and merchandising.
When Dale has used his "Intimidator" reputation on the runway, he calculated his moves and used his bumper with a finesse and precision of world-class surgeon. Dale ran the way you run, but he always ensured that he would come to mind.
Unlike Dale Sr, Kyle is more reckless in its tactics and not the calculation. Not yet anyway.
Currently, Kyle did not show the same respect for the "black hat" that Dale Sr. has done and that is not sitting well with supporters. If Kyle wants the same image as "The Intimidator" was needed to grow, and stop coming across smuggling as a butt-head on and off the track or it'll just finish "The imitator."
Or, whether it be NASCAR that benefits ultimately.
